What exactly does a DCI digital marketing apprentice do everyday? They go to work at their full-time marketing job, attend evening sessions with the cohort to learn from a local marketing expert, then go home and study or work on a project. Let's get the story straight from one of the apprentices!
Samuel Mills, an Internet Marketing Specialist at Southwest Exteriors, joined the apprenticeship program after realizing that he needed more marketing training after college. He started out as an intern with Southwest Exteriors, then after proving his worth he started working full time 40 hours per week. Now he spends his days performing marketing tasks such as automation, interviewing clients, and planning new strategies.
Here is straight from Samuel on why he chose the apprenticeship program and how his career is moving forward as a result. Watch the video below!
A Day in the Life of an Apprentice

Samuel understands the importance of learning and how you have to put in more time to do so: "As an apprentice it’s important that I learn new skills and earn certifications. You have to put in time outside of work to make that happen."
